My best friend Emily Fowler shared this amazing recipe for Hummus with me! I made it today - and it is too good not to share with everyone!
2 (15.5oz) cans no-salt-added Chickpeas (Garbanzo beans) - rinsed and drained
2 garlic cloves
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup tahini (sesame seed paste)
3 Tablespoons lemon juice (fresh)
2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Step 1: Rinse and drain the Chickpeas
Step 2: Put everything in the food processor & blend
Step 3: Taste to see if it needs anything extra (I added more salt, pepper, and garlic)
Step 4: Enjoy!
